About Me

From Germany to America

When I was young I had expressed the desire to go and live in North America. I migrated from Germany as a young man across the Atlantic. After a couple of years residing in Canada I moved to New York City. My Spirit-led adventures caused me to be independent from the beginning and with the help of others I started to develop successful businesses in the fashion industry. 

Sun, Sea and Love

Selling my business interests permitted me to travel for a couple of years in the pacific as well as the Caribbean. Sun and sea, as well as the peace, made me fall in love with St. Maarten. Though at this point it was an underdeveloped Caribbean paradise, after a few of years of sun, sea and lots of fishing, I started a real estate company on the island.

I met and married my now wife Marisol from Santo Domingo with whom I have had five children. We now split our time living in St Maarten in the Caribbean and Mallorca in Spain.

Now all grown up, the last to arrive was a set of triplet boys. Two of them have become singer/songwriters, who where discovered at age 15 in St. Barth and had further success in France and England.

They returned to the island as young men, spent lockdown with us, and now live in Nashville the music capital of the US. Check them out on Spotify, YouTube and Instagram.
The third of the set just started his own real estate company, First St.Maarten Real Estate, after cutting his teeth in the family business - Sunshine properties.

Alexandra

Our Daughter Alexandra, having an artistic eye and mind after studying Photography in Manhattan, is now successfully operating within and from the Caribbean with assignments all over the world.

Marisol and I are living between St. Maarten and the Island of Majorca, having the best of both worlds.

My Writing Journey

In my late twenties, while living in New York City and spearheading a cosmetic company, I started to write a screenplay about a struggling actor. But after two-thirds were completed business took me away and I put my writing on the back-burner.

However, a few years ago while visiting the Netherlands my mind drifted back into the time of the German occupation. I read a newspaper article of the discovery of hidden artwork by Nazis with a value of over several hundred million dollars. I began to do some research, and after a while THE GREAT DECEPTION was born. I started to love writing and continued the story with my second Novel THE SANCTUARY, with events taking place in North and South America, and the Caribbean.

Novels 3 and 4 are currently being proofread and are stories of set in the present day, and in the meantime I am working on my fifth novel. I have enjoyed the process of writing so much that it is only now that I have managed to move into the publishing process.
